- Applies to accessories used with gases including air, carbon dioxide, inert gases, fuel gases, nitrogen, nitrous oxide, and oxygen; it excludes flow characteristics, physiological effects of medical-gas accessories, pressure-gauge and flow-indicator accuracy, and accessories covered by other UL standards.
